Conversations about c tuba | | Is it okay for a girl who will climb to coconut tree? | | I have a neighbor in my town that even she is
a girl she would climb the coconut tree to have
some fruit to drink.
She also asked by her mother to get for it to used
as milk for vegetables and whatever cake or puto
to do.
In your own idea is it wrong for a girl to do this
specially in her situation that she is already a lady?
She is not a lesbian, she is normal. Some told she
is boyish because she can do that. Only boys usually
do that climbing ang getting tuba or wine from that tree.
What are your opinion on this line? Do you consider
her as a boygirl? Hehehe | |

| | how do you celebrate All Saints & All Souls Day? | | were having a novena prayers for the late ones, we offer them MASSES, flowers candles and visit them in the cemetery. as our filipino customs, in the eve of Nov 1 we prepare food and offer it to the dead, someone told us we need to offer a bottle of tuba (a native wine from coconut) and a stick of tobacco because lolo is fund of it. because our foreparents did that, it was pass on thru generation to generations. but its not the offerings that matters most but its the prayers we offer to our dear departed. | |
| | Better service on airlines? | | I saw an article on Yahoo! today saying that while airfare increases, service seems to be going down the tuba...Anyone have any horror travel stories? Here's a personal one:On the way to a girl's weekend in Las Vegas, I was leaving on a Friday night and returning Sunday night (essentially I only had 48 hours in Vegas). I got to the airport 3 hours ahead of my 9:30 pm flight. Due to bad weather, all the flights for Southwest were backed up, though miraculously, United's were all leaving on time! As time went by, my flight got pushed further and further..10 pm, 10:30 pm, 11pm and then CANCELLED. I was transferred to another flight which was supposed to have left at 6:30pm. WE got on the plane at 9 pm, then 30 minutes later, asked to de-plane. NO explanations. Finally we were re-boarded at midnight and got to Vegas at 2 am. Vegas airport was a MESS. I could not find my luggage and so I went to my hotel at 4 am. | |
| | Do you like coconut? | | Our country has a lot of coconut tree. Everywhere you look, you can see at least one standing proud coconut tree. There are so many use on this plant.. Remember the coconut tree song? The coconut nut is a giant nut
If you eat too much, you get very fat
Now, the coconut nut is a big, big nut
But its delicious nut is not a nut
It’s the coco fruit (it’s the coco fruit)
Of the coco tree (of the coco tree)
From the coco palm family
It has so many use that we call The Tree of life. WE can have a house made of the coco lumber and made a broom stick made of the leaves. The coconut fruit is very useful too. Specially the oil produced from it. Aside from the culinary use it also has medicinal value. They say that drinking the juice from its fruit could heal UTI, and that the oil from it could cure a lot of diseases. We also use coconut milk from the fruit. Here in our country we use coconut products everyday. From the broomstick that we first use in the morning to husk that we use on the floor. Don't you just love coconut?
Oh I almost forgot, the LUmpiang ubod! They say it is a millionaire's food because you have to cut down a tree just to have it.

| | How to open someone's musical mind. | | Here's a problem for anyone to mull over. Say you know of a really amazing band, for example, Drums and Tuba, but your friend doesn't like them because he's for too cool for that, and seems to believe that by enjoying them, that his manhood will shrink. My question is how do you get a person like this, whose mind is so closed to crack open a little and see the light? Thanks in advence for any responses. | |
| | Color Me PISSED! | | I took the day off today. It was the first day since Oct. 16 that I didn't work. It was a pretty nice day here in Southwest Florida. The temperature probably got to about 78, but without my beloved humidity it felt rather cool to me.OK, so this morning I washed all the windows and doors that lead to the lanai ... about 30 feet of glass, maybe more. Then I weeded around the lanai. Then I installed a new mailbox (the old one fell off its standard yesterday) so I could get all those incoming checks. (Big laugh!)Then I read the paper and decided it was time for a bike ride. I did a great 34 miles today, the majority at about 11-14 MPH, but I hit some headwinds on my return. I was exhausted! I finished my ride by going to my local distillery for a 4-pack of beer. Enroute I took a spin around the Wachovia bank where I've found $5.00 and $42.00. I found a quarter today. Then at my distillery, I spotted a penny, which I'm not too proud to bend down and pick up. Net find: 26¢.Then I decided to drive (by car) to the beach to tip a couple of beers and enjoy some rays.On the way at a traffic light I was approached by a group of teeny-boppers (average age I'd guess to be 13-14.... | |
| | Jathropa Plant - Promising Biofuel resource | | Anyone heard of this plant called Jathropa also known as Tuba tuba in some areas. I have read that these could solve our problems for biodiesel alternative since we have plenty of these plants nationwide. We just need a large amount of land to plant these so that we could harvest it in bulk. I also research that there is even a corporation that is investing to propagate these plants and be able to produce the needed biodiesel our country needs badly. I am hoping that our Filipino entrepreneurs would grab this opportunity to help our country's needs for alternative fuel to run our country. | |
