| | Conversations about 4 piston valve tuba| What do you think of Ben Wallace becoming a Piston | | I personally think Ben Wallace is not as good as he used to be. When he was a member of the Pistons previously, he benefitted by being place in a role where he could succeed. All he needed to was rebound and play defense because they had Billups, Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Price, and Rasheed Wallace to do all the scoring. I think that now that the core has gotton older, and all that is left is Rip and Tayshaun, Ben Wallace will not be as successful because he can no longer just be a one-dimensional player. | |

| | AI is now a Piston!!! | | Barely a week into the new NBA season, we see perhaps one of the biggest trades in recent memory. Allen Iverson has been traded to the Detroit Pistons by the Denver Nuggets for Chancey Billups.I'm really excited about the trade. I'm a big AI fan and I like the Pistons as well. So seeing one of my fave players join one of my favorite teams is really giving me the goosebumps. This works for the Pistons since they add a legit superstar to their already start-studded roster and AI brings a lot of positives to the team. I really hope that AI wins the big one with Detroit. There is no doubt that AI is a future Hall of Famer and a title will only cement his legacy.Denver also gets an upgrade in the trade. The team sorely needs a pass-first point guard which AI isn't. Billups suits the role better and he provides additional leadership in this team. Chancey can distribute the ball well and can knock down some shots if he needs to. Over-all, I think this trade helps both teams and it makes both teams better.I can't wait to get my AI Detroit jersey.Thoughts about the trade are much appreciated.Cheers!!! | |
| | This is my Bearded Dragon Piston | | I thought I would share with everyone my Bearded Dragon Piston. He is a year and a half old and 24 inches long. He has beautifull orange coloring around his face. He is honestly the coolest lizard ever!! I got him when He was 4 inches long. I have hand feed him everyday and held him. Now he will let anyone hold him, he lets my kids{3 & 5} put him on there semi trucks and drive him around the house. Yes we let him run around the house. He has NEVER bit anyone. He likes to go outside and eat the grass and catch a bug if he can. He eats all kinds of things like..crickets, grasshoppers, moths, strawberries, raspberries, apples, grapes, romain lettuse, the list goes on. Im so glad I got him. He has been a really good pet and hope he sticks around for years to come!!I have added a pic of him and will add more to your responces. Thanx!! | |
| | | | | rear disc brake piston won't budge | | I was replacing the brake pads on my 1994 Honda Civic. It has 4 wheel disc brakes. The front end went fine. When I tried to change the rear brake pads I couldn't get the piston to budge at all. I don't have a special brake piston tool so I use a C-clamp. My first C-clamp bent so I got a different, larger one. I cranked so hard on this one I broke the clamp in half!! Still, the piston wouldn't budge at all. If I get a special piston tool will that work or is there something wrong with the piston? Do I need to replace the rear pistons (since this is the same on both sides)? Do I have to first disconnect the ABS and emergency brake before I can push in the piston? I put the rear brakes back together after some cleaning but I am going to need to replce the pads. I really don't want to have to pay $50 to a garage to do something I can do myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! You can e-mail me directly at mike1969@windstream.net | |
